GSO CAC/RCP 62:2021 Scope

This Code of Practice focuses on measures (e.g. Good Agricultural Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Storage Practices, Good Animal Feeding Practices, and Good Laboratory Practices) for national authorities, farmers, feed and food manufacturers as well as consumers to prevent or reduce dioxin and PCB contamination in foods and feeds. This Code of Practice applies to the production and use of all materials destined for feed (including grazing or free-range feeding, forage crop production and aquaculture) and food at all levels whether produced industrially, on farms or in households. Since the global limitation and reduction of dioxins and PCBs from non food / feed related industrial and environmental sources may lie outside of the responsibility of CCCF, these measures will not be considered within this Code of Practice.
