GSO ISO 4831:1994 Scope
This standard gives general guidelines for the enumeration of coliforms present in products intended for human consumption or feeding of animals, by means of the calculation of the most probable number (MPN) after incubation at 30oC, 35oC or 37oC in a liquid medium, this temperature forming the subject of agreement between the parties concerned.
