NOTES
1 In addition to the terms given in the three official ISO languages (English, French, Russian), this International Standard gives equivalent terms in German, Spanish, Italian and American; these terms have been included at the request of Technical Committee ISO/TC 41 and are published under the responsibility of the Member Bodies for Germany, F.R. (DIN), Spain (IRANOR), Italy (UNI) and the USA (ANSI/RMA). However, only the terms given in the official languages can be considered as ISO terms.
2 The terms are given in English alphabetical order. The equivalent American terms, where these differ from the English terms listed, are given in alphabetical order in an annex, which is followed by alphabetical indexes for each of the other languages.
