This part of Gulf standard specifies requirements relating to the safety of children’s high chairs for domestic use , with the aim of minimizing accidents to children resulting from normal usage and reasonably fore seeable misuse of high chair and multi-purpose high chair mode. Such chairs be convertible to low chair low chairs and tables and for such uses as baby walking frames pushchairs swings car chairs or reclining low chairs. This additional function are not covered by this Gulf standard nor does not it deal with accidents or injuries which might result from the interaction of older children with the children in the high chairs or accidents which might result from abuse or misuse by persons over three years age.
