GSO 2730:2023 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for windshield defrosting and defogging
systems.
This standard applies to passenger cars, multipurpose passenger vehicles, trucks, and buses.
Vehicle manufacturers can comply with windshield defrosting and defogging systems for
road vehicle either the European Regulation (EU) or the Federal Vehicle Safety Standard
(FMVSS).
