GSO IEC 60107-2:2015 Scope

This part of IEC 107 deals with the general methods of measurement of the audio channels of receivers for monophonic systems and multichannel sound systems. General considerations for the measurements are specified in IEC 107-1 and the measurements specific to the multichannel sound systems are dealt with by IEC 107-3, IEC 107-4 and IEC 107-5. Measurements for non-broadcast signals are dealt with by IEC 107-6. This standard deals with the determination of performance and permits the comparison of equipment by listing the characteristics which are useful for specifications and by laying down uniform methods of measurement for these characteristics. Performance requirements are not specified. This standard does not deal with general safety matters, for which reference should be made to IEC 65 [1]* or other appropriate IEC safety standards, nor with radiation and immunity, for which reference should be made to CISPR 13 and CISPR 20 [2] [3].
