This specification relates to variable pre-set capacitors of any dielectric, style or application as specified in Sub-clause 3.10 of IEC Publication 418-1, Variable Capacitors, Part 1: Terms and Methods of Test. It covers procedures for type tests only as defined in Sub-clause 3.27 of I EC Publication 418-1.
