This International Standard specifies the nomenclature appropriate to the various parts of lifting tables and stages in order to assist manufacturers and users in the identification of these parts. NOTE - In addition to terms used in two of the three official IS0 languages (English and French), this International Standard gives the equivalent terms in the German, Spanish and Italian languages; these are published under the responsibility of the member bodies for Ger- many, F.R. (DIN), Spain (AENOR) and Italy (UNI). However, only the terms given in the official languages can be considered as IS0 terms.
