OS GSO ISO 8816:2016 Scope
This International Standard specifies the general design and performance requirements of solid-state (remote) power controllers for use in aircraft electrical power systems. The solid-state (remote) power controller consists of solid-state switching device(s) and associated solid-state circuitry for protection, action-ing of control signals, and providing status information.
NOTE 1 Phrases, clauses and/or sentences in parentheses are intended to refer strictly to remote power controllers.
