This International Standard describes the methods of measurement for assessing the ,performance characteristics of television transmitters. To assess all other characteristics .this standard needs to be used in conjunction with the publications quoted in clause 2 .This standard is intended to be used for type tests and acceptance or factory tests It is not mandatory to measure all the described characteristics.
