OS GSO EN 1034-6:2011 Scope
This European Standard applies to calenders intended for use in paper making and finishing and shall be used together with EN 1034-1:2000+A1:2009. It deals with all significant hazards listed in clause 4. Related safety requirements and/or measures are described in clause 5. It does not cover hazards connected with lifting operations required for changing rolls, inserting reels into the unwinding unit, removal of reels from the winding unit and heating systems for heating calender rolls.. This European Standard is not applicable to calenders that have been manufactured before the date of publication of this standard.
