This document specifies the customer minimum requirements for corrosion inhibitors used for corrosion protection of internal surfaces of oil and gas production facilities; including inhibitor properties/characteristics, selection and injection criteria. Details, which are site specific, e.g.; inhibitor injection rate and environmental data will be provided by project specification/datasheet. It also specifies the minimum requirements for injection package comprising Injection/metering pumps, transfer pumps, storage tank(s) and associated control equipment. Details of the complete package to be used will be provided by project specification/datasheets. This document is intended to cover inspection, testing, quality control testing and supply of the specified corrosion inhibitor and its injection package. Corrosion monitoring system requirements for oil and gas production facilities shall be covered in another document.
