OS GSO ISO 5905:2002 Scope
This Gulf standard specifies the characteristics of landing mats of dimensions 2000 mm x 1250 mm x 60 mm for use in competitions and training. The determination of these characteristics shall ensure that:
a) for competitions and training, mats are used, the hardness, shock absorption and resistance to slipping of the landing surface of which lie in a specified range, depending on their use;
b) the risk of injury to the gymnast, by slipping, is reduced
